I'm a cognitive neuroscientist. I love doing science and use this as a chance to explore different part of the world. I grew up in Seoul, Korea, then went to Germany to do an internship at Bayer Cropscience in Monnheim. Afterwards, I did my master/PhD at Max Planck Institute in Tuebingen Germany. During my PhD, I gave volunteers (usually poor students!) some visual/auditory stimulus and investigate their brain connectivity using fMRI.

Last year I moved to the state, doing a postdoc at Caltech. Here, I am interested in fear perception to explore social domain of the neuroscience.

I used fMRI, EEG and psychophysics to explore healthy/neurological damaged brain activity. For the method, I implemented general linear model, spectral analysis and machine learning algorithm.
